Horseback Riding Testimonials

Testimonial

We took a trail ride guided by Justin out to Cow Creek for an all-day adventure. It was an adventure wrapped in awe of the beauty of the surroundings. While we are from the country you just can’t imagine the vastness of this land. Justin was tailoring the ride to meet our needs. I was afraid of heights and he let me take it slow or found a way around. When we stopped to have lunch along the creek. Justin produce amazing lunches that were big enough to feed two people. The food was top-notch and hit the spot when it was really needed! It was a ride through God’s country with people that you will never forget in a lifetime! Thank you!

Staci and Gene Molyneaux – Endicott, NY

Circuit on horseback in the elevations of Idaho was nothing short of fantastic. We enjoyed every minute. Justin’s expertise and enthusiasm for the trail was the lynch pin that made the outing a grand success. We liked the horses too.

P & L Smith – McKnightstown, Pennsylvania

“We wanted to thank you all again for the wonderful two day pack trip! We had a great time in the Salmon mountains! We really enjoyed the horses. They were sure footed mountain horses on which we had a lot of fun, but also had time to enjoy the countryside. Thank you, Justin, for taking us on such great rides with wonderful landscapes and so much wildlife! Having a cold night, it was good that Cathy packed an extra sleeping bag for us. Thanks, also for preparing such delicious meals! You did a great job and we will recommend you where ever we can!”

Saskia Meichsner and Martin Baumanns – Duesseldorf Germany

“We started out on our wonderful pack trip. I cannot thank you enough for all that you did for us to make this such a great experience! The level of professionalism, skill, planning, care and service on our pack trip was truly extraordinary, but it was outdone by the vistas, the weather and most of all the high, high level of camp cuisine! I am already looking forward to next years’ three day excursion.”

Paul Branstad – Chicago Illinois

“It was a beautiful ride! My horse was great (Gus). He was quite capable in handling the narrow, on-the-edge mountain trails. Justin was our guide, was quite personable and able to answer all the questions of our small party. SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!”

Patty Kasper, New Jersey

“Thanks for the great ride today! I wanted to thank you for the delicious bars you made for us and thank Justin for a spectacular ride… for his patience with us, since none of us were experienced riders. His dedication to our comfort and safety put us all at ease. It was a day that none of us will forget. Our pictures will not do the scenery justice. We will sure hate to leave this beautiful area….I hope that someday we will be able to return.”

The White Family

Scott Wilson – Canby Oregon

“My husband and I went on the Lewis and Clark ride and absolutely loved it. Great guide. Exquisite scenery. Fabulous horses. Incredible food, family run; super nice people. Would definitely highly recommend! Thanks for a wonderful time.”

Laura – San Diego California

“Dear Cranney family, While visiting dear friends at Moose Creek Estates, we went on one of your fabulous trail rides at Cow Creek. This trip to Idaho was my first and this type of trail ride was another ‘first’! Everyone in our group enjoyed it tremendously and the census was that the ride was breath taking. Not only were Johnny and Justin informative, they were warm and friendly. We were all pleasantly surprised when we stopped for lunch, in the middle of the mountains, and had home made pasta salad, potato salad and Justin even grilled chicken!!! Oh, and I can’t leave out the phenomenal cake that was made from scratch- WOW! We were very impressed with everything. I will be sharing my experiences with all of my friends and family here in Texas… maybe one day they’ll make it up there to experience it for themselves. Thank you very much- all the way from the heart of Texas!!”

Kendra A – Spicewood Texas

“Recently our family took a day long horse back ride on the Lewis and Clark trial. The breath taking views, wonderful horses, delicious lunch and outstanding guide service with Justin was a cut above the rest! His knowledge, patience, kindness and professionalism was superior. Justin and Rawhide Outfitters exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great experience!”

Luke and Amanda Peterson – Minneapolis Minnesota

“We were very pleased with our experience. We enjoyed the Saddle to Paddle trip up the Wagonhammer trail on horseback and the Salmon River float trip. It was perfect for our family and the friends who we were with. Thanks for a wonderful trip. Your personal attention to details, the great food, pleasant company made our experience a highlight of our trip. We would recommend you to anyone interested in this. In fact, I think I may be back to go on a fishing trip in the future. Thanks again, Bill, Kelly, Ryan, Kyle and Amanda”
