Lewis & Clark Tours
Following the Trail That Shaped the West
Explore History Where It Happened
Discover the Lewis & Clark story in one of its most authentic and meaningful locations. Rawhide Outfitters offers guided Lewis & Clark tours through Idaho’s Lemhi and Salmon River Valleys, where much of the landscape remains much as it was in 1805. These experiences combine history, scenery, and thoughtful interpretation, allowing guests to retrace the route of the Corps of Discovery at a relaxed, engaging pace.
The Lemhi Valley is the homeland of Sacajawea and marks a pivotal point in the expedition’s journey. Here, Lewis and Clark first crossed the Continental Divide and made critical decisions that shaped the remainder of their westward route. Our tours are designed for guests who want more than facts, offering context, storytelling, and a genuine sense of place.
