Trail
Rides...
Our trail rides offer an excellent
opportunity to saddle up on gentle mountain horses and explore the
spectacular scenic countryside of Idaho. Guided by John, Justin
and Luke, they share their knowledge of the area, watch for
opportunities to view a variety of wildlife, and help ensure a
safe and quality ride.
1/2 Day Trail Rides
are conducted with-in a close proximity of the town of Salmon,
morning or afternoon with approximate time in the saddle from 2 to
3 hours depending on guest's time schedule and level of enjoyment.
A homemade treat and drink is included.
I Day Trail Rides
consists of riding into our Cow Creek base mountain camp located
in the majestic Lemhi Range of the Rocky Mountains. It's a 4 1/2
mile ride to camp taking 1 1/2 hours by horseback. Camp is nestled
in a beautiful meadow with Cow Creek flowing down from the high
mountain peaks. After savoring a delicious lunch riding the
trails around camp, a little fishing, horse shoe throwing or
relaxing by the cool water creek can be enjoyed before riding back
to the trailhead toward the end of the day.

safari's by riding or hiking where elk, deer, antelope and an
occasional mountain goat or sheep can be viewed and photographed.
