Scenic Floats (1/2 day)
These trips offer a relaxing float morning or evening with abundant
beautiful scenery and wildlife to view and photograph along the
way. There are no rapids on this section which flows by the town
of Salmon where the river is wide and smooth. Drink and home-made
treat is included. You may choose a paddle or oar raft. If your
lodging in Salmon we can come right to your motel and pick you
up.

Day White Water Rafting
Our one day trip includes floating a 13 mile section of the Salmon
River 17 miles west of North Fork, where it flows through a beautiful
canyon forming some great rapids! This trip is enjoyed by folks
ranging in age from 5 to late 70's. Your have your choice between
a paddle boat (shown at left) or an oar boat where the guide sits
in the center of the raft and you just need to sit and hang on.
Most of our guests seem to enjoy the paddle raft as you are more
pro-active and possible get alittle wetter!! Your picture is taken
as you go through Pine Creek Rapids. A barbecued lunch is prepared
for you along the river's edge and besides the main entree it
includes horderves, fresh salads and home baked deserts.  A
camera can be brought on the raft and kept in a dry bag for safe
keeping during the rapids. We usually see big horn sheep and an
occasion mountain goat along the way not to mention some very
majestic scenery.
At the end of our 1 day white water rafting adventure many of our guests have commented "Wow, this is so much fun we don't want this trip to be over!" Well, it doesn't have to be!
For those adventure seekers who are after more excitement and want to experience a longer, quality time on the river we offer 2 and 3 day trips as well.

Day White Water Rafting
We float 30 miles with equally good rapids on both days viewing
some of the most awesome scenery that Idaho has to offer. 4 delicious
hearty meals are prepared and served for you fresh and plentiful
Dutch oven style. We camp on a secluded and beautiful island and
provide all camping gear. Usually folks bring their own sleeping
bag, but we have some for rent if need be. A menu questionnaire
is sent to our 2 day guests as we do our best to provide meals
to their individual tastes making adjustments for any diet restrictions
or allergies. Some fishing can be done on the 2nd day of the trip,
with equipment provided at a $25 minimum fee.
 3 Day White Water Rafting
For our 3 day trips, a 47 miles section of the river is rafted, with a second night also camping along the river's edge. 7 meals are provided. For both of these trips all camping gear is provided. Usually folks bring their own sleeping bags, but we have some for rent if need be. A menu questionnaire is sent to our 2 & 3 day guests as we do our best to provide meals to their individual tastes making adjustments for any diet restrictions or allergies. Some fishing can also be done on these trips with equipment provided at a $25 minimum fee.
Gold
Mine Tours
are included in our 1, 2 and 3 day rafting trips. This section of
the river is rich in history as gold was discovered in the late
1880's. Some of the original building built by the miners are
still standing. A very informative and interesting talk is given,
along with a demonstration of gold panning and a walk into an
old mine shaft and mill building. This tour enhances the whole
rafting experience and is very much enjoyed by all our guests.
